Play as a working-class rat in a world full of greedy business magnates, conspiracy nuts and hackers. Help your family survive and uncover the Cat Conspiracy. This is the first demo of Pieces Games' debut project.
Infected devices may show signs of a RAT infection, such as system settings being modified without user consent, suspicious applications appearing on the device, significant data and battery usage, questionable apps redirecting to malicious websites, intrusive online advertisements, etc. Additionally, victims are often asked to install a remote control tool that will provide attackers with complete access to the device.
Malware like the fake "System Update" RAT is a particularly dangerous threat because it is well documented, free to use and grants attackers total control over infected systems. RATs can also be delivered via a variety of methods such as email attachments, malicious online advertising, deceptive applications, social engineering, scam websites and even through infected USB sticks.
While RATs can be difficult to prevent from infiltrating an Android device, users can take steps to reduce the likelihood of being impacted by malware like this. For example, only installing apps from the Google Play marketplace, and securing your phone with a passcode (that only you know) can help reduce the risk of a RAT infiltrating your device. You should also make sure to stay up-to-date on the latest security news, and always practice good password hygiene.
